Hey folks, I start Pharmacy School in the fall. I have finally made my laptop purchase (a Sony Vaio SZ440) and now need a bag to haul it around campus.
I have been looking at the Timbuk2 laptop messenger and the Timbuk2 commute bag. Does anyone have an experience with these bags?
I am looking for something to carry my laptop, maybe a spiral notebook or two, and random school essentials (my cellphone, few pens, planner, water bottle). I have only used backpacks before (The North Face Borealis that I have had since high school), and I figured that it is time to graduate to a more sophisticated messenger style bag (but not too sophisticated, I'm still only 22 and on a college campus every day).
    Any suggestions?

i just received my timbuk2 commute xl and aside from being taken aback by the sheer size of it, i'm failry impressed. the padding seems nice and sufficient and their are a lot of pockets for organizing. the water bottle pockets are pretty nice and accessible. their is actually a review of it on this website if you want to take a look. you don't need the xl though so the sheer overwhelming size of the xl really won't a problem for you. however check this timbuk2 bag out http://www.onlineshoes.com/productp...ndid=69&brandcatid=856&gen=w&pcid=71036&fo=rn
its very stylish, i'm waiting for mine to come in on monday.
