No I can't see any Timbuk2 bags fitting that laptop. All their notebook compartments are designed for Macs unfortunately. So unless you have a relatively slim laptop it's not going to fit. Personally I would look for a sleeve + bag solution especially for awkwardly sized notebooks.

hi, nice notebook you have got. I don't know if you are looking for something in uk or somewhere else but I have used this trust bag and its quite big, so it should fit your laptop.

I have that sleeve and the notebook. The 17 inch Zeroshock will not work with the W870CU.

I guess it's taking a while for accessories manufacturers to catch up with all these damn 16:9 notebooks. :p

That was my impression as well. My previous 16:10 17 inch M570TU can fit in the Zeroshock just fine, but the 16:9 17 inch W870CU cannot. Right now I'm using a Waterfield SleeveCase as it is the only decent case that I can find in the right size. Their factory and headquarters are only a bus ride away so I went over there and hand picked the perfect size for the W870CU, 33-23. http://www.sfbags.com/products/sleevecases/sleevecases.htm

Brand is just for sizing checks, if you already know which size you need, that doesn't matter. Orientation is which way you want your notebook inserted, vertically or horizontally.

Those sleeves do look awfully tempting. :p I am actually using my old 4:3 15.4'' notebook sleeve which actually fits my 16:9 15.4" lol.

When I get back home, I'll take a shot of my notebook in it. I have a horizontal sleeve with the cover flap as it makes it easier for my notebook to slip in and out of my messenger backpack. If you have a traditional backpack, it might be better to get the vertical oriented sleeve.

The dimensions of the W870CU fall within the maximal dimensions of that bag's notebook compartment, so I'd say yes.
