    Hello there,

i would appreciate recommendations about the best laptop desk that you sit on your lap...And has room for a mouse.

Basically, i work on websites as a webmaster 5-12 hours a day some days and prefer to sit on a couch or a recliner. I have purchased a lap desk from walmart that recently started falling apart.

Anyways, i would really appreciate some guidance or recommendations on people who have seen some solid lap desks... Maybe you've seen or have a good one that you recommend, or recently seen one that looked interesting...

What am I looking for in a lap desk?

    • Price is almost irrelevant
    • Big enough to sit my laptop on and comfortable use a wireless mouse for 5-12 hours at a time.
    • Not looking for a cooler...

If you've seen some cool options aside from what you'd find at wal-mart, please feel free to fill me in on these! Appreciate It.!

This is the one I have,,, its a bit on the heavy side because it has alot of padding, it has a built in cup holder and a place for your mouse as well... Not another Laptop Desk? Rocketfish Mobile Laptop Desk Review ? The Gadgeteer

check it out, the pictures dont do this thing justice,,, its awesome and sooo comfortable. its not to portable, its a bit on the THICK side because of the amount of quality padding it uses.... its extreamly sturdy as well I love it.

please feel free to give me some REPS hahaha jk,

I can vouch for the lapinator as being comfortable, but the mouse-pad extension needs some work. It is very flimsy, and not stiff enough when you put some pressure on it with your wrist (which you are bound to do at some point). It also comes loose very easily which I solved by putting some velcro on the bracket which attaches to the main unit.
