    I haven't used the v400, but I do have the 6000. I think the 6000 is a great mouse if you can get used to the size. The magnify feature is cool, but not sure I will use it very often. I reprogrammed that button to the back button for my browser. The button would have worked mush better if it were 1/4 to 1/2 inch further back, I have to move my thumb foward to reach the button. It is very smooth and responsive. I includded a picture of the 6000 beside my MX518 to show the size difference.
