    I did not see any treads for a laptop SDTV-DVR on here so i made a new one.

    What i want is to be able to record shows that i miss at night because i have to go to bed early to go to school in the morning. I looked at cards on newegg.com and some say they only work on xp. Is there a card that works on 64 bit Vista? My budget is around $60. Also what software should i use. I will be rcording the files to my 320GB external hard drive. My system is in my sig.
