I'm getting a laptop with a 15.4" screen and want a bag that can carry the laptop, charger and a few other accesseries. I came across the Belkin Sling Bag. It looks pretty good in the Chocolate/Blue color combination and fits my needs. My question is, if I plan on taking it around campus from class to dorm room to cafe, etc, is this a good laptop case to use? I really like it's style/design and it's a good price at only $45.

If you wouldn't recommend that case can you guys recommend me something that could also hold binders/text books as well as a notebook? Thanks in advance.

I purchased a Targus notebook carrying case a few years back and it served me well. I'd recommend contacting a few places that specialize in selling notebook carrying bags and see what their most durable/reliable/best protection offered bags/carrying cases are. I personally prefer functionality over good looks. What's the point of getting something that looks nice if it won't do what its supposed to do? That one thing should be: protecting your inve$tment.

That's all the general sage advice I have for you. A little legwork goes a lohng way. Hopefully other members in this forum know more about carrying cases then I do :/ Sorry I don't have any better advice for you. Best of luck!

when i look at that bag, it doesn't look like it can hold much...most likely your laptop, a textbook, and maybe a spiral notebook....but other then that, it looks fine.

Actually when reading about it, supposedly it holds much less. Just the laptop and it's charger and if you want there is a cell phone pouch. I guess I'll look around and see if I can find something more durable and can hold more.

Edit: I just found out the dimensions of the bag and my laptop and it looks like my laptop will fit snug inside of it. However, does anyone have any advice on a bookbag that can fit this bag inside of it? The dimensions for this bag are: 18 x 12.5 x 5
