So I just picked up an HP dv2120us (14" widescreen) ... LOVE the laptop, and I'd really like to protect the investment *grin* ... I currently carry a slingpack to work, and I bought a (wee-bit-too-big-but-better-than-nothing) sleeve for the laptop. Barely fits in my slingbag, so I'm looking for a replacement for the whole shebang. Gotta have plenty of storage space for the assorted crap I carry around (media player, smartphone, power cables, headphone sets, etc.), but be comfortable (of course). I'd prefer to stick with a slingbag over a messenger bag (distributes weight better), but I'd consider a solid messenger bag or backpack, if need be. Trying to keep the price under $75 if I can help it, but I can go higher ... thanks in advance for any recommendations y'all can make!!

    Hi!
this is just my two cents.
    1) did i quick research on slingbag *read i googled* seems to me as if there isnt much difference with a slingbag and a messenger apart from what you say and the fact that slingbag is realllly squarish from the pics ive seen anyway
    2) i would refer you to this thread on the forum: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=50734
    3) sleeve wise again same thread as usual you might consider emailing whichever company you chose because it seems to ma anyway many of the sleeves outhere are mac directed perhaps as a testimony to the company's popularity who knows.
