Hi all!
I just bought a new laptop, which is 14".
Now I'm looking for a new bag since my older bags broke all at the same time. They were quite old too, so can't blame them.
Requirements:
- Comfortable - I bike minimum 20km (13 miles) a day
- Fits a laptop, notebook, water bottle and basic things as wallet, keys etc.
- Slim design
- Doesn't scream "Look here, here's a laptop to steal!"
- Available in Europe
I've been through google and most bags I find are too big. Every tip is useful. Thank you!

One option to consider: get a slim sleeve for your laptop and go find a good bag from a local sports store.
-
Yeap, it's something to consider. But I'd like it to be option nr 2
-
I second the sleeve, I got one thats really soft on the inside and has like jelly on the outside made by incase, try bring the laptop along to test it in the bags you like before you buy and you won't have to narrow your options down to just laptop bags.

Thirded on the pack with sleeve (and I've mentioned it in other threads). You'll get a much, much better pack that way. Sleeves can be nested if you need more protection than a single sleeve offers.

Additionally you should think about getting pannier or basket as biking an extended period with backpack makes your back sweaty

I didn't even think about pannier/basket because I have some kind of city-mountain bike. I need to check that out. Thanks!
But firstly I've decided to take a look at backpacks and then move on to more bike oriented solution. -
A backpack I've seen that seems to be designed for biking, the Osprey Momentum (30 or 22), has a blinker strap and reflector on the bottom, compaction straps to keep the load from shifting, and an elastic T to hold your helmet when you're off the bike (e.g., on intermodal commutes, for helmets with top ventilation gaps). The manufacturer web site doesn't have many pictures itself, but if this might be a candidate, the manual has more.

You should also consider that a backback can be quite dangerous for a biker and something hard in your backback might cause spine injuries in case of accident. Better transport anything in the storage compartment of your bike (if any) or in a proper mounted case.
