    Hi,
I got a laptop bag as a gift. It's the "commuter" bag made by Timbuk2 (basically a messenger bag with a nice padded pocket inside for a laptop). Does anyone else have experience with this bag? More specifically, does anybody know what size laptop will fit in it? It says it fits "most" laptop computers, and Timbuk2 claims it is a perfect fit for an Apple 15" Powerbook. Does anyone know or believe that a 15.4" widescreen notebook will fit in there? I'm thinking of getting an Asus Z70v or Z71v, specifically. The laptop pocket is essentially 14 inches wide, which is just about the same width as those 2 computers.

So what does everyone think? Any idea if a 15.4" notebook will fit in this bag?

    Thanks. [ :)]

I can't say for sure, but if you go to ebags.com and go to the Laptop Bag Finder you can select a particular laptop. In your case, just choose the Asus machines and check if the Timbuk2 bag shows up. That's my suggestion.

Don't get a bulky case, you won't like it. Dell shipped a free bag with my 700m that is almost 3x the size of the laptop! Doesn't make sense... I have never seen that bag though.
