    I would like to power

    1. a certain Lenovo laptop which needs 65W and has a rectangular tip and USB C power input both.
    2. Moto Z Play. This can take 5V 3A from a USB C port.
    3. Two PackedPixels. Each consume 1A or 1.5A at 5V (it has a physical switch to set which) -- but if it's 1A then it's dimmer.
    4. My eReader. That's just 500 mA at 5V.
That's about 100W, one USB C, one laptop and three USB ports. This charger is almost perfect -- port wise it is OK but it's 20W too few. Does anyone know of a higher wattage similar device?

This one is 90W at least which is sort of OK but -- a few more watts would be so nice :) as this one would require limiting the PackedPixels to 1A and no eReader charging as we are out of watts, simply. Also this would require an USB Y cable which is not a biggie but again not needing one would be nicer.

@chx1975 what model & config is the certain Lenovo laptop, exactly? Are you absolutely positively sure it is pulling all those 65W?

Heh, I am so obsessed with the TP25 that I readily assume everyone knows.

I haven't measured myself yet (especially because it'll be several weeks before I get it) but the T470 ships with a 45W and this baby we waited six years for (and so happy it actually happened!) is basically a T470 plus a 940MX (plus a very, very, very awesome keyboard -- did I mention how incredibly, incredibly stoked I am to get a new ThinkPad with the old keyboard layout??) and so it ships with a 65W USB C charger so yes I believe it is pulling all that.

    Corroborated by a report of https://www.reddit.com/r/thinkpad/comments/6feg4d/usb_c_power_banks_for_x1c_2017/dl6zkf2/ where 30W couldn't even power a similar enough X1 Carbon 2017.

No, no it's not stationary, the point of the PackedPixels is to move around with them. I just don't want to hunt for two power sockets when even finding one is often a challenge. https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0...ooklet_-_Version_1.0.pdf?13383125385549794742 this says here it pulls 1.5A over USB. Not sure where your 1.3A figure is from...?

And yes, I could use something like https://www.amazon.com/Figure-Female-Splitter-Adapter-CableCC/dp/B00ZUE85EO (or even the Moenegallet I have) and use two adapters, one for laptop, other for USB but it seems... unelegant :)

@chx1975 I read about 1.3A on their Kickstarter, where they also discussed running PackedPixels on DP power alone. Not sure if they implemented it, eventually.

According to review, Thinkpad 25 has quite low max brightness. So, laptop USB ports may be enough to keep PackedPixels as bright as main display - impossible to tell for sure, since exact cd/m2 figures for PackedPixels are nowhere to be found, but I'd say it's a strong possibility. So, if powering PackedPixels from the laptop itself works out, you can just get something like 120W PSU with 2x USB and call it a day.

Is there similar available for my dell 13 5000? I would love to have one charger like that on my desk to charge my laptop, ipad, iPhone and an extra port....

    1. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00PU0EENE is a 90W slim adapter with two 5V 2.4A USB ports at half a pound.
    2. Use the USB ports to charge the PackedPixels. Since the ports are 2.4A we can use to charge our eReader by utilizing an USB Y cable. The PackedPixels are 1.5A each and the Kobo manual states 500 mA. I might need to measure how much it takes, though.
    3. Use the N07 tip which is 5.5mm x 2.5mm and split http://www.ebay.com/itm/262766811425 it in two.
    4. Feed one of them into this Dell Accessory for USB C.
    5. Feed the other into this simple tip converter.
Comments on https://electronics.stackexchange.com/q/333350/27147 state such a split won't kill anything.
