    Hey guys. I just purchased a Aorus x7 pro and while doing research I read that they get quite hot.

    I'm not very up to date with the latest computer gear anymore, so I would like to know what you guys consider the best cooling options that are preferably not too loud. Thanks.

    Cancel that order... The X7 Pro V3 is a massive fail... the CPU throttles at 70C and the whole laptop is like a furnace and has horrible performance... Cancel your order ASAP!!! Do not get this laptop!!! Look at Sager NP9377 if you want one with dual 970M.... That laptop can actually cool them...

    Yeah. I actually noticed that thread right after I made this one. Oops.

    Nope. Still deciding one which one would best fit the layout of the bottom of my laptop.

    You are so going to regret getting this laptop.. Gigabyte/Arorus has really screwed it up... the CPU throttles at 70C and the whole laptop overheats.... See the following notebookcheck review...

    I wonder do laptop coolers really matter nowadays? What I mean is that aren't the laptop fans supposed to be sufficient to keep it cool enough...
    I think if you need a cooler then, you'd be better off getting a different laptop.

    Agreed... Especially with this laptop which is a total fail.. Arorus have really screwed it up but it's not surprising as gigabyte have been screwing up quite a bit over the last few months...
