    I have a Zalman NC2000, love it, glad i went w/ the 2000 model.

    One question.

Should I always leave it on (how long will it last me)?

Or shoudl i only turn it on during liek games, etc.

Honestly as an NC2000 owner and enthusiast I run it on medium when running normal Apps , high with games and then low durring sleep or idle.

You will have to clean it if you do taht though.

The issue with that is the Zalman will heat your notebook if its not running. If the notebook is on the zalman and the notebook is on the zalman isnt the top of the zalman heats up thus heating the notebook. Its better to just remove it if you do that.

I always plug it to USB so it starts when the laptop powers up.
