So, my laptop only has a USB 3.0 and a USB 2.0. I have a corsair m65 rgb, a Wacom intuos, ducky shine 6, and sometimes my phone to sync up music. Obviously, there's an issue here... 4 devices, 2 USB ports. I bought this ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00LRYUJQS/ref=ox_sc_act_image_1?smid=A29Y8OP2GPR7PE&psc=1) and was wondering if I could run the keyboard, mouse, and Wacom tablet off of the USB hub... Or will I run into power issues... I just want to leave the USB 3 port for my phone to transfer song files.

    Thanks.

You should get a powered hub.

But for one keyboard, one mouse and one tablet the port itself will do.

Hmm, a powered hub. I'll look into it. Do you know if these hubs in general affect performance? I did a quick scan and one post in particular said something about input lag and what not. Maybe it was just that hub in general, I'm not sure.

No. For input tools they either work with no latency issues or don't work at all.

With a backlit mechanical keyboard and mouse, you should be using a powered hub as mentioned. I'd get something like this since the package includes both the USB data cable and AC adapter.
