I have a 100 watt power inverter that I used with my old laptop but it does not have enough juice to run my new one. My questions are:

    1. What car power source would you recommend for a Compal HEL80
    2. Is it harmful on the battery to use the lower wattage inverter to charge the laptop while in the car because I think it does have enough power to do so if the laptop is off.
