Howdy folks, have a Skooba satchel for my Lenovo T61p laptop and love it. Good protection for the laptop, heavily cushioned shoulder strap and decent build quality. I recently upgraded to an Alienware M17xR2 and wanted a bag similar to this but bigger of course. Which brands are out there are similar to the Skooba?

I think Timbuktu has bags like that for the M17x, otherwise try ebags.com.

Sfbags is another one to consider. I know many members that will recommend the brand in a heart beat. Their notebook sleeves also comes in a wide range of sizes, or you can get one custom made. Got a question though, the M17 is obviously alot heavier than a T61p, are you willing to carry that around in a messenger style bag?

Thanks for your reply Johnny T, I already purchased an Alienware Orion messenger bag.

As for the weight, it might be a little difficult initially but I am sure I will get used to it ;) I initially had difficulty with the T61p as well.
