    Hey everyone!
I know there are several threads around about accessories and such but, and only if it's okay by the mods, i'd like to ask the question separately in order to maximize the responses.
I am looking for something small and light to protect my m1530 during transport. I'm very concerned about humidity and rain (I live in Boston).
If you have any suggestions, recommendations, and especially links to good deals, please post!
    Thanks!
    Dav

but that's exactly the kind of feedback im looking for!
    Thanks a lot!

i suggest any one of these bags they are all slightly different style bags. i have Lowepro backpack case and the quality is excellent. ive had several different notebook bags, backpacks, and shoulder bags. This one iss the best. its luggage quality and had alot of good padding. Check out the following links.

Riton, I agree with Crash...Belkin makes great sleeves!

Here are a few I found for the 15.4 lappy, from Dell's site...However, I'm believe you may be able to find them cheaper at sites such as buy.com, Amazon.com, etc. ;) :)

    Targus:
    http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/...etail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=A0606832

    Belkin (exclusive to Dell):
    http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/...etail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=A1455160

    Belkin:
    http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/...etail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=A1157859

    Case Logic:

    Hope, that helps!

    Cin ;) :)

Cin are you 100% positive each one of those will fit the 9cell?
The Dell reps are really stupid sometimes... one of them told me none they sold fit the 9cell battery... im 100% serious

I was thinking they would & listed them for you to check out, as they stated they fit a 15.4' (and some had enough room).

I would check with another Dell rep, also..otherwise I can continue to look for you later on today! :)

Check out the link above that Crash posted for you, for the Belkin ~ also! :)

Otherwise if you want a *custom* sleeve made, check out Waterfield:

Here, is specific to the 1530 w/9 cell batt:

that's where i got the actual dimensions of the m1530 with the 9cell battery.
a bit out of my price range though :)
I'm gonna try and get a rep to give me some correct info this time, but if you could keep helping me out by looking it would really be great!
It took me 2.5 years to upgrade to this great piece of machinery, I don't wanna slack by getting a non-fitting or just bad sleeve.

No, I don't mind helping you..it will have to be this evening, though! Plus, it gives me a chance to peruse more messenger bags, and such! :) ;)

Good luck with the call to Dell :)

Another option would be WaterField. Just look on their site for your size. If you don't see it there, they will make a custom sleeve just for you.
