    http://www.sfbags.com/products/sleevecases/sleevecases.htm

I've got one of these for my HP NX8220 and it's a great sleeve. They come in a huge variety of sizes, so you'll find one that's a great fit for your W3V. You can customize the accessories too to suit your needs.

Craftsmanship is top notch, so although it's a little pricey, you get what you pay for. I got the horizonal setup with the shoulder strap; I keep the sleeve inside my messenger bag, but when I want to travel light without any accessories I just pull out the sleeve and the shoulder strap.

Removing the notebook from the sleeve while in the messenger bag is easy to do as well since it's fastened by just a single velcro strap. My only gripe is that the snug fit of the sleeve for my notebook sometimes makes removing the notebook from the sleeve a two-handed operation. Nevertheless, all in all it is a great product.

I have one on order from Sfbags.com In the other thread I learned to just email Gary from sfbags, very nice guy emailed me back right away. I placed the order and he emailed back with the shipping information. Very nice to deal with. It should be at the post office now but with the holiday weekend I never got a chance to pick it up. I will post the reults when I can get it. It looked and sounded like a really good product.

miufahkiu, do also have one of their computer bags? I was looking at their Cargo bag and it looks pretty nice.

Sure would like to see a review on this one.

Nope, I don't have one of their computer bags. Those are a tad too pricey for me. I use a Dakine messenger bag which I've had for several years; it's nothing fancy but it's withstood 4 years of abuse and is still going strong. The Waterfield sleevecase is the perfect compliment to it for carrying a laptop around as it's comfortable and low key while providing protection.

Here are some pictures of the bag and sleeve:

    ARB (and others):

The ASUS thread is at http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=16645

I have a Shinza Zeroshock, which fits great side-to-side and leaves about half/three-quarters of an inch at the top, but it's a snug enough fit that the W3 doesn't slide around at all inside, and even if it did, the inside is soft enough that it won't scratch anything.

Others have the booq viper and say it's a great fit, too. They're both about the same price, but according to the specs, the zeroshock is thinner and lighter.

    Hope that helps!

so i posted sth in that thread and i don't seem to be getting any replies...so i'll post here and hopefully get it answered :(

so...i'm starting to look for a sleeve for my W3V (loving it! ) newayz, for now i'm just using that foamy-feeling plastic covering that came with the notebook for protection. hahha.... Anyways, I've been lookin around and i think the booq vyper is too costly. Basically I just need something to prevent it from scratches and stuff like that since I'm planning to just put the notebook in my backpack or messenger bag. Also, I'm nook for something that's NOT a super tight fit since I don't wanna take my laptop out in an unease manner..if u know what i mean (2 hand job to pull the thing out)

was wondering why ppl don't like neoprene...

I wanna know if there are any stores in Canada that I can actually go in and take a look. Also in Hong Kong since I'll be making a trip there very soon...
Aside from that, I also saw this and was wondering if it'll fit the W3V. The dimension looks similar to the booq vyper XM 'cept bigger in the 1 area of the dimension. They do have this list saying what notebook fits that sleeve and from the list of asus models, most of them are 12.1 inches notebook... anyways, take a look.

    http://www.ebags.com/gymspacific/as...?modelid=46848#

    Fabric: Neoprene
    Size: 12.25" x 12.75" x 1.25"
    Fits laptops: 12.7" x 12.2" x 1.35" Will my laptop fit?
    Linear inches: 26.25"

That will depend on if it stretches at all. The booq vyper says it's a little smaller than the W3, but apparently it stretches just enough that it's a perfect fit. My zeroshock, on the other hand, has stiff wire sewn into the piping along the edges, so it won't stretch at all. Fortunately it's big enogh that it doesn't need to, but if you're buying a sleeve that's lists dimensions smaller than the W3, you'll want to make sure you can stretch it, or you'll end up with a very expensive file folder. :D

so basically anything with dimensions smaller..but stretches, it'll become a tight fit?!

and why do ppl prefer other material than neoprene?

If it stretches enough. And that's a big if, depending on the material.

Not sure what the anti-neoprene bias is about. The zeroshock is spongy, but more like one of those temurpedic matresses, covered in nylon, so it absorbs impacts really, really well. Apparently the booq bag is similar, but with a slightly harder shell.

I have recieved my sleeve from SFbags, its size #14 horizontal with a flap. Nice tight fit with a little extra room at the top. Fits inside my brief case real well no problems at all. If interested drop Gary a line via their website A www.sfbags.com The case itself is very well made good "solid feel". Plush soft interior. Drop them a line, its well worth the money. A great accessory.

hey valsmere... just wondering why you prefer to add the flap on.
also, it's really worth the money? cuz with the flap added on, it's more than the booq vyper...
also, when u said tight fit...is it tight that u have to yank ur W3 out? or use a lil bit of force to pull it out?
