Hey guys was wondering if you guys know any good places/brands to get a laptop sleeve for a 17inch laptop. I want to take good care of my new laptop when it comes in. Oh by the way, it'll be the Alienware Superman Laptop :) if you guys want to know.

Thanks miufahkiu...taking a look into it now and they actually do have a size specifically for the superman laptop. Thanks a lot.

Dude, Alienware makes some HUGE laptops. Good luck finding a sleeve to fit. Try the ZeroShock at Shinza.com they make a 17-inch widescreen sleeve.

Radtech makes some good gloves/sleeves. There's many other companies but depends if you want something that's thin and protective or bulky and protective.

Thanks for the info guys...so far I've received the alienware odyssey backpack from newegg...was cheaper than buying from Alienware and a superman mouse from newegg as well to match the laptop. I'll look into the suggested places you guys talked about. The laptop is estimated to ship on the 8th...its actually in phase 8 right now so the chances of shipping next week looks good. So all I need now is the laptop, planning on getting some Crucial RAM, and the sleeve. Thanks again

    Thanks for the sleeve links!
I've been looking for a quality sleeve for my monster notebook as well.
Too bad the ZeroShock is a bit small..wonder if it would stretch a little bit?

    :D

I was wondering if any of you guys actually have a laptop sleeve for an 17inch laptop. Ive looked at most of the links and recommendations and majority of the dimensions will not fit the model I'll be getting. Hopefully bigger sleeves will be made in the future.

Do we need a sleeve if we already have a case?

Hm, would the STM Rebound be considered a sleeve or case? Though the STM Glove looks like the perfect fit, for $5 you get better protection without added bulk.

The STM products are looking pretty good but I checked the dimensions for the 17inch STM glove and it isn't big enough to accommodate the Superman laptop. I did notice that they sell their products at the university I go to. So when the semester starts, I'll go take a look at it.
