    Heya guys.

I'm getting a Macbook Pro and I'm planning to get a Monitor to connect it up to. I have a few questions.

Will I be able to use the monitor and the laptop screen as the dual-setup thing?

Also, I'm kinda confused about Mini-DisplayPort to VGA/HDMI/DVI cables.. Could someone link me the sort of thing I'd need on an English site?

    Thanks,
    -DreadAlert.-

Oh. I get it now. I need an adapter like this and then something like this from the adapter to the monitor.

You will most like need to use a jack to get audio to the monitor. Also make sure you get the right adapter depending on what kind of input you have on your mon. Pretty much all LCD will have DVI but only the newer ones will have HDMI
