What's the least expensive Razer headset out there with a mic?

Planning to use for Skype/Ventrilo and MOBA games like LoL etc. but I really don't wanna spend like $200 just for one.

On second thought, it doesn't really have to be RAZER but what other good headsets with mics are out there ?

    Budget: $40~$80+-

The razer Carcharias and Corsair Vengeance 1300 come to mind as well. I found my Carcharias to be a bit too bassy and my vengeance 1500 to be more balanced. Yes you do pay a bit more for the razer brand and not all their products are worth buying, but some are still good.

EDIT: The Gamescom remains the best deal i've seen so far.

I have had a bad experience with a Razer headset. Their mice I have heard are decent, but try Turtle Beach or Creative Labs.

If I "had" to go buy a headset and money was no issue it would be a Beyerdynamic, if I needed a "gaming" headset it would be Astro Gaming A40 wireless.

Id not touch the Logitechs, the Creatives, nor the Razer stuff.

    Astro: http://www.astrogaming.com/wireless-systems-1/a40-wireless-systems

For the money though Plantronics makes some of the best communication systems in the world, and the GameCom is there product line for pc gaming.

777 is half price right now: http://www.amazon.com/Plantronics-G...MDYY/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1325133143&sr=8-2

The Plantronics GameCom 377 is an excellent stereo headset on a budget.

I also have the Razer Carcharias, which as far as I know is their cheapest mic'd headset, and it's pretty awesome.

If you want a good headset for $40 - $80, then the three you want to look for are:
    * Corsair HS1 USB Headset (not the HS1A analog version) - about $65
    * Gamecom 777 USB Headset - about $50

If you want a Razer headet for $40 - $80, then you're better off
taking half of your money and burning it. Razer and "budget" do not belong in the same sentence together. Their products are way overpriced for the performance/quality you get, and are really only viable purchases for people that are willing to pay extra for Razer branding (for example, Razer marketing and the colored LEDs). With your budget, I would strongly suggest you focus on bang-for-your-buck performance and value, before you focus on branding and flashy colored lights.

I would absolutely recommend the 777 if you want a headset with a built-in mic. I love mine. Really comfortable for extended play and the surround sound is pretty convincing.

Also will recommend the 777. A good quality device and the price is unbeatable.
