i've been searching around for a leather messenger for a while now and can't seem to find something i like. i'm you guys can point me in the direction of a few.

I'm looking for a leather messenger. i want a clean look and not too bulky. able to fit a laptop was well as a few books etc. i think 4 inch depth would be the max i would go.

i suppose 200 would be the max i would go, but the cheaper the better.

any suggestions and personal experience welcome. thanks.

kenneth cole has quite a few which I like, thought leather is inconvenient for me at the moment. I know there was a website somewhere... I'll post if i find it.

I have a Rawlings briefcase, and I really like it...(although in general leather is a little heavy compared to other materials)...check out this item, the leather messenger case is listed as 2.5 lbs and I'm thinkin bout gettin one of these to match my briefcase:

It can be had for about $200 here (although the site seems to be down right now):

Edit: It's made out of baseball glove leather (either tan/orange or black)....

Victorinox makes some really nice ones--they have ballistic nylon versions as well as leather. But the nylon ones are already over $200.

    I have the Parliament.

I ordered the Rawlings one last year... god, I loved it, but I had to return it. It rains alot here and without a zipper closure under the flap I was afraid my laptop would get wet -pouts- I fully intend to get one some other time, though, cuz it was an awesome bag.
