Note: Title would be better understood as Uni Gaming Mouse!
I really wanted the Razer Diamondback Frost Blue gaming mouse until I realised it was right-handed only...
I still really want to get a Razer brand mouse, so are there any left handed Razer users out there that have recommendations for the best Razor mouse for left handers?I heard some of the uni designs were uncomfortable.
If there are other brands that have similar designs/performance that are more comfortable for left handers I'd appreciate info on that too.
I'm used to using a standard Microsoft mouse.
Also, I want to purchase the Razer Headset because I heard the bass levels were good, plus I like the idea of having a mouse and headset match. But if there's anything better then I'd like to hear recommendations too.

There is NO left handed mouse BUT there are mouse which are Uni handed.. which means they are straight ..anyone can use them
Razer Lachesis is such a mouse and its also a high end Gaming mouse due to its gigantic 4000 DPI. -
The Razer Krait looks uni though, has anyone used one of those before?
Edit: The RAZER Copperhead Tempest Blue looks OK too -
Checkout my Signature... All you need to... Gaming mouse,
u ll find some info. about Gaming mice ..
and some guys have also posted Steelseries mice at the end pages. -
Thanks that helped a lot.
I've narrowed it down to either the Lachesis or the Copperhead Tempest Blue. I'll see how much info I can get on each and make my decision from there. -
How's the diamondback frost blue right-handed only? This is the diamondback 3g frost blue mouse, right?
the frost blue one is "uni-handed." I have the earth green one. Personally I prefer it over the copperhead -
All the diamondbacks can be used by left and right hand.
-
Hmm, I guess I got thrown off by what some of the reviews say about it being so set in right handedness.
Oh and also, my current mouse is uni and it's lasted 4 years now, so I guess I've forgotten what using a right-handed designed mouse is acutally like lol
Actually, come to think of it even if they do curve slightly towards the left, especially the Death Adder design, I think that would be easier to use than ones that were made straighter for being uni specifically.
Thanks, I'm almost deadset on getting the Razer Diamondback 3G Frost Blue nowlol it's half the price of the Lachesis too...

The Diamondback is indeed a very good mouse.
I had the older optical version myself.
-
I think this one's going to be great!
One thing I'm wondering though, what's the best surface I should use it on? My current one only likes being used on clothes lol It won't work on just desk surfaces or any stlye mouse pads...
I saw some of the Razer mouse pads are made from Aluminium, wouldn't that scratch?unless this is just to make it more controllable when you aren't gaming or something.
I guess I could just experiment but if it is worth getting a specific mouse pad for the 3g then it would make sense to order them together. -
I use the razer goliathus, its nice and cheap, 3 sizes to choose from, and its very smooth.
-
Awesome idea of having 3 sizes.
Ok I'll definetly look into getting that one, thanks.

Ok I've thought a bit more about this... Could someone suggest which gaming mice would be best based on this information:
- I will be using this left handed 90% of the time
- Don't want anything too heavy
- My hands are quite small, so nothing too big either, unless it's comfortable.
- I'd rather have a lighter, larger mouse than a heavier one.
- I need something that isn't going to cause driver issues on Vista 32bit
So the 3g Diamondback still looks like a good option, but I've been hearing great things about the SteelSeries Ikari. Would it be a good choice based on the information above? and how easy would it be to game with considering the button positions?
Oh yeah and there's a Optical and Lazer version of the Ikari, which one's better?
