I have a Lenovo T61 laptop and I bought a Dell BH200 headset recently. I am able to pair the headset to the laptop but am not able to hear the music on headset. I am not sure of the problem. The Dell tech support asked me to check if my laptop has A2DP profile but I dont know how to check. Does anyone how to check if my T61 has the profile?

You have to use Lenovo's bluetooth driver and not Window's (it leaves out A2DP). Then you should have a bluetooth icon in the tray and you can right click and start pairing it up with your headphones.

I have disabled the Microsoft Bluetooth and so then set the pairing. It works so I am assuming I am using Lenovo's bluetooth. I have some screenshots of the set up attached. Is anything missing because I still cant use my headset to listen to the media player songs on my laptop.

Got it figured out finally. I downloaded the latest driver from Lenovo and it worked just fine. Thanks a million!

Hi,
I am now facing the same challenge. Just trying to get my Plantronic Voyager 500A headset work with Lenonvo T61. Could you please give the specifics about the drivers you download and the steps to configure it?
Thanks. -
The problem is due to the outdated driver in T61. Go to this link and get the latest driver (7ka113ww.exe).

Read the instructions carefully which you can find on the same page before you install.
