So I placed an order on a fully loaded thinkpad and I have been feverishly, almost obsessively, scouring the 'net for the perfect bag. I'm pretty sure there isn't a bag left that I haven't seen.

Anyways, while pricey, I really like the bags Booqbags are offering. They appear to be a quality company offering quality products. That said I really dig the Mamba sling, but their notebook to bag matchmaking system doesn't seem to think my T61p will fit. The depth of the notebook, based on the dimensions they provide, appear to be a couple inches too big. Anyone have any experience with this combination?

Thanks for the tip. I'm still tempted to try the Booq Sling. Searching for the dimensions on google I'm getting slightly smaller numbers for the T61p than the bag finder on Booqbags suggests. Though the 9 cell battery may be what puts it over.

I noticed you are using tweaked 8600gt drivers for your machine. I'm sure I'll be playing around with that when I get my machine. I tried clicking the link in your sig but the page seems to be gone.

Using these drivers, do you notice a significant performance increase in games (which I assume you play some since you're using 8600 drivers over the quadro ones)?

This is the thread that is linked on my sig. (works for me).

Those drivers seem to get the very best 3DMARK06 score but the best drivers that I have ran are the 174.30 series.

My 174.31 3DMark06 score is 6 points less. It was coded for the FX 570m. Very stable. Good at games.
