    Hey all,

Do any of you know if I can buy the SLI graphics card for the Ultrabay separately? If not, do you know if that will ever become possible in the future? I'm trying to find it online but I don't come up with anything expect for buying it preinstalled.

    Thanks in advance!

I assume it must be eventually, since you could buy the Y500 card separately.

Rumour has it that they will be released the second week of Sept. but I've also heard there is no ETA for the y410p/y510p ultrabays.

You will also need a much larger power supply also. I see them go on Ebay for 350ish for the ultrabay card and 425 with the power adapter.

Adapter goes for 60$ on ebay, though Lenovo will charge you 80$ if you buy it off them:

170W AC Adapter FOR Lenovo Ideapad Y500 Y400 I7 I5 Gaming Laptop Power Charger | eBay

The irony is, a Y510p without SLI can run on a 90W.... :p SLI might run on the provided 130W though i am not 100% sure about it. Get the card first, the adapter second.

Lenovo rep told me 2nd week of september the cards will be availble for purchase. They will probably retail for 189$ or 239$ with the adapter included.
