I have a Logitech wireless rumble pad and simply love the thing. I get beyond excellent battery life and the thing takes a beating and is still working strong. It's only about $25 or so if you look around. I highly recommend it and thus far i have had no issues with any games not recognizing the controller. Maybe you should try updating the software from Logitech's website.

I'm using a Logitech ChillStream controller that pretty much is the XBOX 360 controller with built-in cooling fans for under $25 from Wal-Mart. I highly recommend if you're more used to console gaming vs typical keyboard/mouse PC gaming. I play Halo/Halo2 on it all the time now!

I'm upset that the expensive premium "ChillStream" controller lacks vibration feedback. A bad move on Logitech's part.

But for the most part, Logitech controllers match the great quality of the rest of their products. :)

i agree, but there is one HUGE FLAW in that rumblepad. (i own it) when i put it in my bag i noticed that i see the red LED on the rumblepad flashing, and that drains the battery. although it does not drain that much, think about the amount of time its in the backpack. sometimes i dont use it for days at a time because im busy or doing something else. i think they should have included a switch in the rumble pad to shut it off, instead of not including one at all or a button that can be accidentally pressed. sure i can take out the batteries and remove them every single time i want to play or put it away, but thats just a hassle

yup, i plan on getting it, soon after a price drop, or cheaper on amazon. id use it for gtr2 and for my ps3. the only problem is that u cant use it on your lap. so you need to have a desk, or one of those expensive racing seat

dont think it would be worth it though. the g25 wheel already has force feedback, and if you want rumble, just put the sub woofer under the racing seat and the speaker volume up.
