Hi Guys, I bought this V400. and it said the battry to use it a AA Alkaline battery, and saw in a some website that they actually recommend energizer alkaline. and can use up to 6 months? is this true? any feedback from V400 users?

Also, I have a Energizer Rechargeable 2500mAh, is this good as Alkaline or Rechargeable bettery is much faster to drain up its life?

For instance, if the Energizer Alkaline can last upto let say 4months, how long the energizer rechargeable 2500 mAh will last? :)

    Thanks :)

It really depends from person to person how long their battery will last. If you leave the USB dongle pluged in 24/7 then it wont last as long since it wont turn off. But it you only use it once and a while to say game, and do everything else with the touch pad, then its going to last alot longer.

I use those rechargeable batteries, they have a pretty good life. They were in my microsoft optical wireless mouse, which stayed on 24/7. It would last about a month. So if your using it with the V400, which turns off when not in use all the time, it would last alot longer.

I have is mouse, and I've found that the battery lasts for about 2 weeks. I leave the usb dongle pluged in all the time though. I have rechargeable batteries, and they work fine, and save me a lot of money.

Thanks a lot :) Im just afraid because the mouse's recommendation is 1.5v while rechargeable batteries only 1.2v...

I've seen on other site that the Energizer Rechargeable (2500mAH) is not good for V400 mouse? it will spoilt the mouse? because the mAh is not correct? it that true? its should be 1500 to 1800mAh as per the site.

please let me know if this claims is true or not. Thanks,

no, it wouldn't do anything bad to it. It doesn't even really know it has a battery, it just sucks power from the device till it has none left. Less mAh just means less time till they are empty.

Im using this V400 mouse and used a Energizer Rechargeable (2500mAh) and I found that the battery last upto 12days to be exact, is this normal? isnt its too fast for a rechargreable battery to last? Im using this for about 8 to 10 hours a day and I dont leave the USB dongle in my laptop.

If I use Energizer Alkaline Batteries, how long it will last to this mouse? :)

    PLease advice.

I have a bunch of 2500mAh rechargeable batteries and I often find that mine does not last a long time - maybe because I'm using them on energy hungry devices. I may switch to Alkaline to test it out.
