I lost my G700 wireless USB receiver, and I was thinking if I could use another's
USB receiver from a different model of Logitech mice? Because a replacement
cost $16+ and I found a Logitech mice for $8

If you get the Unifying Receiver you should be good to go
Logitech - What is Unifying? -
Do NOT buy the unifying receiver. The G700's receiver is different because it's gaming grade (1000ms response time) and the unifying one won't work with the G700.

Have you called and told logitech your problem? Because I somehow lost the one to my G700 and I called them. They were going to give me a brand new boxed g700 because they had no more receivers in stock. They ended up sending me a receiver, though. Awesome customer service.
-
They sent you a new one free of charge, how is that?
-
logitech is renowned for their customer service. I've heard nothing but similiar stories from the states.
-
They just did. It was the best customer service I have ever dealt with. It's the reason I buy logitech aside from awesome quality.
-
Do you need a receipt and proof of purchase for that? I bought mine from amazon.
But seriously has anyone really tried using the unified receiver of the common wireless
mouse that Logitech has on their G700? I'm surprised if none has yet tried. -
official logitech rep said on the logitech forums that its not compatible.
-
No. If I remember correctly, they just asked me for the serial number in the battery compartment and that was it.
-
I'll make your life easier, tried it and they are not compatible. proven.
