They look like nice mice, i need to replace my current one!
-
The Performance mouse looks really nice. I am glad they moved to the small receiver.
-
Rats, I was hoping for a new gaming-grade mouse. The G7 could definitely use a good successor in order for Logitech to have a legit competitor to the Razer Mamba.
-
I wouldn't mind playing around with that Anywhere Mouse...
Try it out against the MS Mobile Mouse 6000's Bluetrack Technology!
Hmmmm.

This is why Bestbuy Currently has the MX Revolution for 40$, a VERY good deal IMO. I picked up two of them.
-
< ordered the anywhere mx mouse to replace my vx nano
-
Same old garbadge with another casing. pathetic.
-
performance MX looks nice, too bad i have no love for wireless stuff.
-
Do these come with a cord? The advertising blurb claims both do...
-
I like the look the of the MX Performance, but I can't tear myself away from my MS Bluetrack Explorer.
-
These mice are basically like the VX Nano and the MX Revolution(both I have) except that they can work on basically any surface. Maybe a few improvements across the board especially the Performance MX. I like how the receiver is now small and the charging is via usb.

Looks like a very nice mouse; not enough to drag me from my revolution MX,but perhaps in a year or two if the battery fails

The MX Anywhere wasn't out when I bought the Razer Orochi a few weeks ago, but after seeing what it offers for the same MSRP of $79.99, I'm not impressed. It looks like just another notebook mouse with an extra small USB wireless adapter and the ability to track on multiple surfaces. Zzzz . . .
Thanks for the post anyway, though. -

Pffft, you cant complain, all good hardware, the performance looks the better anyway of the two anyway, its just a better tracking nano, which has it's place.
Still, wish I could live in america on my wage; $29,000 sounds much nicer hahah -

They need to update the G7 and VX revolution. X_X
-
The back/forward buttons are very far back, I wonder how good they will be?

So when will Logitech answer my prayers and pull through with the wireless G9x?
-
A VX Nano upgrade! awesome
-
i'm deeply saddened by the discontinuation of the VX Revolution...
it's offered great size for travel as well as a contoured shape for comfort...
i like the Performance MX but i wonder how big it is... -

Hmm I think "Darkfield Technology" sounds awesome, other than that I am not too impressed.
Kinda gimmicky like those new micro universal adapters they have that look just like bluetooth to me. -
Performance Mouse MX looks bad lol
-
well, i've just placed an order from amazon...
hopefully this will be a good replacement for my aging VX Revolution... else, imma gonna have to grab a lifetime supply of VX Revs... lol -

Great post. I'd definitely consider replacing my V450 in the near future with the Anywhere MX. I'm really liking the design and the unifying nano receiver. The Darkfield technology sounds interesting as well, as an improvement from standard optical and laser, but I'd have to wait for reviews to verify actual performance. I hope the actual size isn't too small as I find the V450 small enough.
It was pretty cool in the video too that the guy said you can use the mouse without one of the batteries to make it lighter. I wonder how that exactly works...
However, the hyper-fast scrolling may get annoying. I'm wondering why Logitech didn't just stick to the stop-motion scrolling wheels they used to put on older models as they go fast enough. The speed of the scrolling on the video looks way too fast and may get awkward.
Also, does anyone know whether the mouse can be optionally either wireless or wired (due to the USB charging), similar to Razer mice?
Lastly, I'm also wondering what the DPI sensitivity of the Anywhere mouse is, and if it has DPI switching. I mean the Razer Orochi is already packing 2000dpi at exactly the same price and has exactly the same freebies...carrying case and USB charging, so it's pretty stiff competition for the Anywhere MX. -
bestbuy in mentor ohio has these in stock.

im not going back into any logitech mouse with hyperfast scrolling wheel on it unless they fix the loose rubber in the wheel..
i owned MX Revolution for only about 2 months and then the rubber on the scroll wheel starts to loose .
causing the wheel to slow down(sometimes even jammed)....i put a lot of grease onto it but in the end i had to cut the piece of rubber to made it work again...
sorry logitech..im going into razer
but i admit that MX revolution is a revolution if not because of its jammed scroll wheel , its mouse with the most programmable buttons and i had a lot of freedom while using it for surfing and multimedia -
hmm... maybe my local best buy got em also...
-
would anyone like to buy me one of these mouses?
-
sure, give me money and i'd buy em for ya!

Hello. I've just got myself an Anywhere Mouse last week and I adore it. However, I noticed that the left button of the mouse feels a bit funny. The clicking sound is quite loud compared to the right button. Is it designed that way? Besides that, the left button feels a bit hollow, as though there is some empty space below the button, when I click it. It does not feel as solid as the right button. The sound emitted also tells me so. Any Anywhere Mouse owners having the same problem? Thanks.
-
Like yours, my left click is a little louder than the right click. I love the clicky sounds though,
, one of those things you love or hate I guess. With the hollowness, I think I see what you mean. My right click feels a bit more solid than the left. I have had my mouse for over a month now, so I'm thinking it's the way the mice are. I don't know if I'd call those "problems" though. I think this mouse is quite solidly built and it still looks as though I bought it yesterday. I adore it a lot, like you do
. Lets see what other users have to say...
-
my MX950's left and right click sound different as well, I guess it's a feature instead of a "problem".
-
Thanks a lot for the replies. Actually, I don't really mind about the clicky sounds. I guess it's a 'feature' instead. Yeah. The mouse is solidly built. The plastics used are considered top-notch. It's the first time I'm using a really decent mouse so I'm really happy with it. The main thing I love about it is the ability to track on glass. This is considered useful to me since the desk I use to do my work has a layer of glass. I don't need a mousepad anymore as using it on glass feels much smoother.
Edit: Just noticed that the left button plastic flexes a bit when I gently apply some force on it not amounting to clicking it and a squeaking sound can be heard. This does not happen with the right button plastic. Does this happen to yours, E.D.U.? -
. As for the flexing/squeaking, I can barely even apply such gentle a pressure without making the left mouse button click. But when I try really hard to apply so gentle a pressure, I do hear a noise. I think it is more just the plastic moving than a squeak, and it's barely audible. You really do pick up on the very fine, little details, lol. Are you an artist of some sort (Maybe a doctor)? LOL
. I really commend you for your attention to detail.
-
The replacing battery part is the only pain, have to replace an AA battery every week because I use the mouse 12-14hrs a day. Don't really want to use rechargeble because I will have to plug the wire in to recharge and it then becomes a wired mouse and defeats the whole point.
-
it can work on a clear glass desk thats what i have i wanted this feature all my life, oh crap i need to change my pants they are all sticky. YES!! I get 50% off my next order from logitech cause my sub blew out out of warranty. GOnna order a new z-5500 and this new mouse. SteelSeries Ikari Gaming mouse for sale less then 3 months old!
