Hello! So, i recently bought the Logitech Anywhere MX and plan to use this for gaming on the go. It looks nice, has a few programmable buttons that are useful in certain games, has solid battery life and very portable.

I did notice one huge issue though but i havent seen anyone talk about it: the precision of this mouse seems lacking. Subtle movements are poor on this mouse. Is this perhaps a defective laser on my hands or have others noticed this too? Maybe lightweight lithium batteries would perform better?

I am curious to hear others talk about their gaming experiences with this mouse!

I briefly tried the AM MX as a gaming peripheral and returned it about 2 days later because it suffered from many of the same issues you describe. For casual and office use, it was great, but it doesn't cut the mustard for serious gaming. The only real "gaming" wireless mice are the Logitech G700, Cyborg RAT 9, and Razer Mamba. The Razer Orochi doesn't count because its Bluetooth mode isn't ideal for gaming but it's fine as a wired mouse.

I don't expect the Anywhere MX to perform to gaming standards. Because it's main focus is to work on any surface the precision is not top notch because it has to work anywhere. Just my two cents. I own the g700, it's great for precise movements especially if you're using a soft mouse pad

I found that if I moved the RX for the mouse to the same side of the laptop it lagged less...

Defiantly not a gaming mouse, but it is a perfect mouse for everyday use/travel.

Yea, it's not really a gaming mouse. Like hiarieshi said, it's laser's main focus is working on any surface. Not precision. The only thing I can suggest is raising the DPI. I'm sure you already tried that though.
