I just bought a logitech v270. Gotta say that it is absolutely awesome. It only has 3 buttons (left, right, and wheel click), but it works for what I need it to do. This is the only BT mouse I have ever used but I like it a lot. It has a solid feel to it (actually heavier than my desktop mouse...which I like), the wheel is nice and "clicky"(not too loud), the buttons are also nice and clicky(different kinda clicky than the wheel). It is slightly smaller than a desktop mouse (the kind that comes with a dell desktop). I have fairly big hands and I like the feel of it.

I am pretty happy with the movement, it seems as responsive as my desktop mouse. I have heard people talk about the lag they get when they wake the mouse up or whatever-honestly there might be one second from turning it on to using it- not a big deal. I tried leaving the mouse on for about 5 mins without touching it and then moving it and there was only a slight hiccup there. I think it is actually a lot better movement than the trackpad on my current sony laptop.

It comes with a nice neoprene case also which is nice for travelling with my laptop. Don't know much about battery life yet but I've heard its pretty good-it has an off/on switch so I suppose that will save some batt life.

Again, I haven't used any other BT mouse but I think this is a good deal and it works well, and it is pretty much all ya need for a laptop mouse or even a desktop with BT.

I am getting a new laptop in a few days which I will try some fps games out on (CS:S and hopefully Farcry) and I will report how the mouse does.

I am overall very stolked about this BT mouse and I thought I'd give a positive review which I haven't seen very much of. Most of the time, if people are completely happy with something they don't usually bother to say anything about it. I am completely happy with the v270 and I'm not afraid to say it!

    cheers
    -Dan

Dan, Great to hear a positive review. I know what you mean about when people are happy with a product, they rarely run to a website to do a positive review. I've found that for the most part most people get fired up or pissed when a product doesn't live up to their expectations and they need to "vent" in a review. Anyway for what its worth, I too have a BT mouse, the Kensington BT pocketmouse and love it. I haven't run into any of the "lag" or "wakeup" problems that a lot of others have suffered when using a BT mouse. Just good to see another happy BT mouse user out there! After using a BT, I can't imagine going to or having to deal with a dongle sticking out of my machine. One less thing to worry about. Laters, Mike

Using the Sony bluetooth mouse and am satisfied. Tracks well. Only negative is the very poor battery life. Lasts about 2 weeks.

I just bought a v270 but I can't get it to work. The software drivers that came with the mouse say that i don't have the correct bluetooth software installed on my computer. In the requirements it says i need broadcom or widcomm bluetooth BTW but I don't have either (I have the ASUS W3J). SHould i download either of those from somewhere? How did you guys get yours to work?

update: yeah, this mouse is teh awesomeness! it moves so much faster and more crisp than the fingerpad, and better then the optical corded mouse I was using before.. I actually had to turn the speed down to make it more usable!
