I gonna get the logitech g5 but when i searched for it i found two versions of it. Here are the links for both of them:

When i checked logitech's website, it showed that the blue g5 was the newer one and it supports vista. Both are the same price. Which one should I get? I just wanna make sure.

The blue one has an extra thumb button, which could come in handy. Other than that, they are exactly the same. I have the old one and it works fine in Vista.

I found other websites where the older logitech g5 can be bought for less than $40 but I can only find the newer g5 for about $50. Do you think its worth it to get the newer one for the extra button. BTW, i like the look of the older g5.

I wanna say it's a G4.. But I have no idea.
Looks like a G5 with less features.. But anyway.
The mouse is awesome, and if I were in the market for a mouse, I would prolly go with the older G5.
Don't really see the need for another 10$ if you don't even like the looks as much. -
Get the newer G5 with the extra button if you use it a bunch.
Personally, I've used a G5 and found it very nice, but it became uncomfortable after an hour or two of gaming. Then I tried a Razer Diamondback and a Razer Copperhead...they looked weird and felt strange.
THEN I tried the Razer Death Adder. BEST MOUSE EVER. (For Me). Nobody gives this mouse proper attention.
Anyway, I'd consider the G5 (two button) or the Razer Death Adder.
