I have it, it's a great mouse, I have no complaints about it. The lack of the forward button is iffy, but besides that, a very good mouse :)

I have it too, that's also my only complaint, otherwise it's a great mouse. I just mapped the right scroll to forward and the left scroll to back since Firefox doesn't support sideways scrolling and not many websites exceed my monitors 1920x1200 resolution.

I have the G7, same thing but wireless. Great mouse, best I have seen in my opinion. But I too would like a back button :(

    Two words

    Mouse Gestures

Once you try them you'll never live without them again. You'll forget there was such a thing as forward and back buttons.

Yeah, I use gestures too, but on pages that have Macromedia Flash running, I need my back and forward buttons. ;)

EEKKKK I hate this mouse... No offence but I thought the MX518 was better. The G5 has only 1 mouse button thingy compared to 2 on the MX518... I never digged the weight option as well... Saved like 10-15 bux as well :)

Gestures aren't for everyone. Personally, I can't stand using them.

Same here lol. Having never owned a mouse with more than 3 buttons, I still prefer the keyboard "backspace" button and such while navigating.

The G5 gets lots of praise, as a regular usage mouse and for intense gaming. But if you'll look around, the world's top gamers still use wired mice :p Not to downplay wireless mice, but coming from a professional stand point there is always the chance of interference with wireless and such. i'll personally never step away from wired, even if it was a free gift (i'd end up selling it  )

Oh yeah? I'll have to check it out. Although having widescreen makes it fairly useless. :/

    Huh? The G5 is wired.

Its a great mouse. I've heard however that the Razer copperhead is better (especially if you game) but it will cost up to 20-30 dollars more and you have to buy a weight adjuster for 10 dollars extra.

If you want wireless the G7 is the way to go. I'm still trying to decide which of these three I'm going to buy to replace my old mx700 by logitech. Design wise I like the razerhead, overall the G5 would be best buy and for wireless the G7

the photos from my XT are ~3400 pixels wide. I only know of one screen that can fit them at full size.
