    Hey guys,

If you are gaming addict like me, you probably spent so much money on your machine, GPU, etc. that you are using some old mouse on a piece of corrugated cardboard you found in the basement. Or maybe you think gaming mousepads are just a waste of money..

Well, so did I. Then I went out and got a Logitech G9, loved it, and found that my home-made plastic sheet solution lets it down somewhat. Ordered an Exactmat, and it's a difference like night + day. Looks sexy, too:

The pad is aluminium with two different surfaces, one on each side. I prefer the "speed" one as it's much smoother. The wrist pad is pretty much mandatory -- even though I generally don't like them, it does make things more comfortable when that raid is dragging into the small hours. Also, the edge of that aluminium pad feels uncomfortable cold to the touch if you use the pad without it.

Bottom line is, in terms of bang for the buck.. Few things cost so little and made my gaming life as much easier as a decent mouse + pad combo. Laugh all you want, I will be lugging this thing around with my Clevo. ;)

Nice pad. I was thinking of getting one to go with my Diamondback G3. But right now I'm ghetto, using my Curry's drawing mat xD. But hey, it actually works well!

Dude, you got ripped off! Those exact mats are like $35, but you can get the same feel by just taping a a piece of wax paper to your desk.

Is that a Sager NP5791 I see on the edege of the picture?

I have used that mousepad before and it is awesome - it's basically a nice thick sheet of aluminum. I don't have one because it would not fit on my desk. I prefer the granular side more than the smooth, tracking on it feels better than the smooth side.

The Logitech G9 looks like an awesome mouse too, I like how it is short in length. I am thinking about getting one but I can't bring myself to replace my perfectly-working mouse at present.

    Hey Chaz

I have a G9. It's awsome! If you get one you won't regret it. It is the most versatile mouse I have ever seen

    Hey

    I had the same idea...
I bought the Rocketfish Gaming Mouse Pad [IMG]and the Allsop Wrist Assist Ergonomic Memory Foam Rest [IMG]
and I have the Logitech G5 [IMG]

    This combination is really great.
ergonomic, comfortable, great performance and efficiency.
