Every time I turn my computer on, come back from sleep mode, or from the screen saver my logitech G9 has set itself to the 2nd setting.

So in order to use my computer I always need to push the dpi button 2x to the right about 20x a day. (literally as I work from home).

Is there a way to force it to keep my dpi setting as the 4th setting? This is quite frustrating.

you could not use lower dpi settings, or make it so that your desired setting is the default

my g9 also defaults to the 2nd setting everytime i change a setting in setpoint (and apply it), and after starting up my computer. It also defaults to the first profile :/

You could try simply not running the setpoint software on your computer. The macros are stored in memory onboard the mouse. It's not necessary to run the software unless you are changing macro binds.

I ran MSCONFIG and simply took it out of automatically starting up and now it remembers my settings just fine. Thanks for the tip.
