Hey guys, I have the logitech m305, and I've noticed that when I'm trying to open scroll boxes or menus or something like that I will often get an automatic double click and it's quite annoying.
Would this be a problem with it being a wireless mouse? Would it be defective? Or perhaps is something interfering with the mouse's signal? Honestly I'm really confused about this. I've never had any trouble with any logitech product so I wouldn't know the problem. Any ideas as to what it might be?

The button switch is defective and is wearing out. The mouse needs to be replaced. It will only get worse with time to the point where it will always do the double click. I had the same thing happen to my Logitech G500. For now, you can switch the left and right mouse buttons in windows if you want to maintain single click functionality until you can get a new mouse.

That's really strange man I just bought this thing like 1 month ago... Is it possible that It came defective or is it because I've been playing a lot of Diablo 3? I do click quite a bit while I'm playing that.

It's not your fault. The mechanical switch is just cheap.

Ah I guess that sucks for me. Well, I guess I should be getting a new mouse but I don't want to spend too much money (which is why I bought the m305) so I'm deciding between these two. What would you recommend?

If you bought it a month ago you should get your mouse replaced under warranty.

I live in Costa Rica and I bought it from Walmart and no longer have the receipt
I think that's not an option.

Logitech doesn't usually ask for the receipt and you can get away with it by guesstimating your purchase date. However living in Costa Rica might be a problem...
