Hello. I had a couple questions that I was hoping I could maybe get some help with. I just ordered my 9400 and was looking for a wireless combo for it. I was leaning towards bluetooth so that I wouldn't have to plug in a reciever and have something sticking out the side of my laptop. My first question is, does this combo work with the integraded dell bluetooth, or do you have to use logitechs usb adaptor? Also, do you guys/girls recommend this combo or recommend a different combo. I want a mouse that would be pretty good for gaming, but yet I'm not that picky either. Otherwises teh main purpose for this combo is to sit back on the couch and compute from 15ft away.
Thanks so much,
Jared

I was also loooking at purchasing this but after seeing everyones problems with this (lag, non-responsiveness, and randomly getting disconnected every once in a while) I decided just a simple wireless combo was better than this bluetooth model
personally I would go with the MX3100 wireless combo.. it has the MX1000 mouse which is a great gaming mouse that you won't ever have any problems with and a great keyboard with alot of features.
Although the bluetooth seems very luring because of the lack of dongle, you must think about it this way.. will you be lugging around your keyboard/mouse combo with you wherever you go? cuz thats the only way it'll actually be useful, if its going to be on your desk at home then who cares, you'll have a little reciever (that can charge your mouse as well, so you don't need to keep buying batteries) -
we bought an MX5000 combo for work despite the reviews, and it works flawlessly. I had been looking for a good mouse for my notebook, and already own a RF MX1000, so I bought a refurb MX5000 on Ebay, use the keyboard (and Logitech dongle) with my desktop and the mouse (with a no-name dongle for now, using Blue Soleil stack) with my thinkpad.
we did have some issues at work with the work mouse when the receiver was in the back port, works perfectly in front. on my desktop the receiver is in back, have not noticed issues using the keyboard. Also, if I try to stream high-quality audio to my headset and use the mouse or keyboard, they freak out after a short period of time and don't want to reconnect. -
Thanks so much. Now does anyone know the answer to the other part. I'm assuming it should work with the integrated wireless of the e1705 (9400), am i correct?
Thanks again! -
Yes, it will work fine with the BT350 bluetooth.
