I have the Toshiba P105-S9312 and the Logitech MX5000 Bluetooth Desktop. I am able to connect the keyboard and mouse with the built in bluetooth but with minimal features. I would like to take full advantage of the Logitech MX5000 keyboard and mouse.

When I attempt to install SetPoint, I recieve a conflict error stating

"SetPoint has detected a touchpad installed on this system. To preserve your touchpad's special features, SetPoint will only install services for your USB port. To take full advantage of your mouse's special features after SetPoint is installed, attach the mouse to the USB port."

you probably have to disable the touchpad in order to take full advantage of the mx5000's features.

Just hit ok and keep going with the installation. It will work fine, you arent connected to the USB anyway, if you have built in BT that is.

If I use the USB adapter provided, all of the features are available. But without the USB adapter, I only can use the basic features (basic typing and cursor movement).

yeah that error has nothing to do with anything.. its just letting you know.. you'll still be able to use your mouse/keyboard

Only thing is that unfortunetly Logitech uses WIDCOMM bluetooth stacks so you cannot use the one you currently have with Toshiba.. uninstall SetPoint FULLY and also uninstall your Toshiba Bluetooth Stack and then reinstall SetPoint.. it should install with the proper WIDCOMM luetooth stack.. also take a look at the logitech knowledge base.. they have some tips on installingg the correct bluetooth stack

on another note.. im not sure why you only get basic keys.. I'm using the Toshiba stack as well (not a toshiba notebook however) and I can use all the features EXCEPT programming the smart keys.
