I have a "Logitech MX610" mouse right here, and it's got all sorts of dings over the area where you rest your palm. At first, there was one odd discoloration, so I didn't think much about it. Over time, more and more little smudges appeared, and some places are now without any silver paint. Is anyone else having problems with Logitech mice paint jobs?

Mine's doing fine. It's an MX1000, but I don't use it all the time; but when I do I use it a lot

My 2 year old MX1000 is showing a little, mostly in the painted logo. My 1 year old VX revolution is still in perfect shape.

I have a year-and-a-half old MX518, and it's doing fine except that the painted Logitech logo is almost totally gone.

My HP mouse that came with this computer is doing perfectly fine. No marks, nothing is fading, as good as new.

The rubber area where the thumb and pinky are suppose to hold is getting worn. I have a mx518, the one that came with a G1s if that matters.
