Hello, I just bought the performance mx mouse and i just wanted to know how to get windows vista to recognize the extra buttons. Right now I am trying to play battlefield 2 and I want to set the extra buttons for different commands and they are not being recognized.

If i'm not explaining this very well I am sorry but what i'm looking for is to set them up so the thumb pad button would be Mouse Button 7 and so on and so forth.

AFAIK Logitech has Setpoint control software to do that.
Have you done the setting there?

Yea I have done the setpoint so i can set the thumb pad button to left ctrl and set up my game like that but i was wondering if it was possible to make it its own button so the thumb pad button would be Mouse button 7
