does anyone know if it works with the gamse Dirt and GTR2? cause i just ordered all three of these products and am hoping they are all compatible. also does it work with vista?
-
-
Yeah,it's fully compatible!!!
Logitech also has drivers for Vista so it should work ok...
Despite this, generally it works as plug n play too,so I don't think you 'll have any problem. -
ty for the info.
-
yes, ive had it for a while now, works great with gtr2. it works with windows vista too.
how do i know this? because i have xp and vista dual booted on my notebook, and i have both gtr2 and the logitech rumble pad 2 -
nice. i really excited for my stuff to get in. have u played dirt? im really curious on that game. looks visually impressive
-
its really cool, i can change allot of things, like the feedback, whether, opponent difficulty, views, amount of cars, level of graphics in detail. but the game really looks good, also the online seems fun. you should look at the online play in youtube like this one
<object width='425' height='350'><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/pD1L_lUTgLI"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/pD1L_lUTgLI" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width='425' height='350'></embed></object>
and its really cool cause thats how the game really looks like, unlike those hi-def videos of games, but looks worser than the trailer. the only that doesnt look like the game is the camera angles. you can do that only in replay
but what i really like about the game is the view inside the car while you drive, gives you the realistic feel. not allot of racing games let you do thatLast edited by a moderator: May 6, 2015 -
Well it has very exciting graphics, especially when using driver's seat camera and I also think it's the most demanding game out there.
The bad is the way you control the car...Totally arcade..
Nice game to have some fun,but if you like sims stick with GTR...

Nothing can beat the 360 controller! ^^
Even the wireless one is fully supported on PC now. -
except the price!!!
how much is that with the receiver?
the rumblepad is only $30 sometimes less -
also what do u mean exactly? in graphics demanding? i dont think so. i can run gtr2 on high without lagg, but DiRT, wow so much lag.

What a 100% honest answer???
the reciever is like 6$ if you want the wirless one and the controller is like 40-50$ however with some free time go play games at club.live.com and you can get it for free like I did.
The wired one is like 40$ aswell.
So... price is not really a factor. Also if its a better controler its probably worth the few extra $$$, then also you can use it on a a 360.
Also check ebay I bet there are alot of deals for controllers. -
I was talking about dirt..
GTR is sooo light
-
well hopefully my computer can run dirt at reasonable settings. if not ill just buy a new laptop

well the guy who started this thread wanted some info on the logitech rumblepad 2, so im guessing that if he or she wanted a different one it would have to be similar in price and in function. the wired xbox360 controller 40$$ is still allot. and also not everyone here owns an xbox, so the whole point of getting a gamepad would be to play on your notebook/pc rather than a gaming console. also ebay is not really a good place to get your stuff in my opinion. too many scammers out there
