Logitech V10 or V20 speakers?

About to purchase new portable speakers for my laptop. I like the design of the V10 much better than the V20 but I think the V20 is better in sound quality/volume?

Which one would you recommend?

 

I have the V10. I've had them for almost a year now and I like them a lot.

I almost got the V20 because of the volume control on the speakers, but I got the V10 because they were cheaper

 

I've had a pair of V20s since last November and I've loved them! They're very light wight, and therefor portable. They have a good volume, and yes, of course there's the external controls which are very nice. I got mine refurbished on e-bay for $30 and didn't have any problems at all.

ebay ones legit?

 

It depends, if you've used ebay long enough you'll know exactly which auctions are legit and which arent. Some are refurbed, some are bootlegs. Check out the sellers rating, location and product description. Usually, they sell exactly what they advertise. Make sure you read thoroughly and find that they are the real logitech versions. If you find a refurb, make sure you're happy with refurbs.

So, are the V20s better for dorm-parties? Lol...

 

Not all are, you have to careful on e-bay. I got mine from a powerseller with over 3000 positive feedback. It wasn't the best deal, but seemed like the best best bet.

In my quest to find some 1/2 decent portable speakers for my laptop I tried both the V10's and the V20's, I was unimpressed and both sets went straight back to the store.

If your wanting them to bang your tunes out, forget it, sorry.

Much better option imho, and if you hunt around, you should find them for roughly the same price as the v10/v20's.

 

you can get v20's refurbs on amazon for 25.58$. Just gotta go through the other sellers and its availible for prime so you get free shipping. Even cheaper then ebay.

 

Was just thinking about that. Low on cash and its not a big priority as of yet, since my system is barely out of the box. Refurbs sounds like a good deal me...
