Since there's no dedicated power button on the mouse itself, does that mean if I turn off my laptop, but leave the wireless USB connected, the mouse will stay on forever, until I actually snap it back in?
Or will it turn off when the USB has no power (ie when the laptop is off)?
It would suck if I had to snap the USB piece back on everytime I go to sleep or leave my laptop around to save battery life (and take it back out to turn it on).

I just bought one and it only turns off when you put the USB reciever on the back of the mouse, there is a pin that hits a small button to turn it off. If you leave the USB reciever in to computer when you shut it down you will go into stand-by until it is moved, but will not turn off. I just put some 1800mAh Ni-Mh batteries in it and when they die, I just recharge them.

Thanks for the input. I have some rechargeable AA's as well. I guess i'll use those after the stock ones die, not too much of a hassle.
