My choice would be the Nano..I have used this, and it's just a sweet mouse! It works great!

The Explorer Mini Mouse is newer, of course..and I will probs order that soon..to check it out. I heard that you can't designate functions for the tilt wheel. It's default is horizontal scrolling. Other than that, everything is a *positive* on it! :D

    Cin ;) :)

    I voted for Nano:
    1) I have it
    2) The receiver is way smaller than wat microsoft has
    3) Have I told you about the special scroll wheel, which you can set it to endless scroll mode or feedback scroll.

Nano, Nano, Nano, Nano, Nano

Sorry, but I just think that mouse is pure awesomeness :D

-Battery life is around 2 months on decent batteries (assuming you turn it off when not in use)
-The dongle is tiny too. Seriously, its plug & forget
-Very nice feel to it, for right & left handers

the only thing going for the MEM mouse is that it has bluetrack

so.. if you usually use your mouse on strange surfaces, then this is the mouse for you

otherwise, ergonomics.. style.. and all those things mentioned above favor the VX

nano it is then!! Thanks everyone for your inputs! @ lunatek, could you please tell me more about that scroll wheel? 1 last thing, do you think there is a better deal than £28 + Free P&P? If so, where?

    Thanks again

    I can answer it :)

It has the usual style scroll wheel, where you get slight resistance then a click. But if you click the wheel down it goes into 'freewheel' mode, then there is no resistance, give it a flick and it will freewheel for about 10 seconds on mine :D

I forgot to add that there is a space within the mouse to store the dongle if you every need to take it out of the laptop and carry it around.

Let's open a Logitech VX Nano owner's lounge...

Do you even need to plug it out from the notebook? LOL, it's so tiny that you can just leave it there. But there's the extra feature that you can store tat into the already nano mouse.

sounds like so far, everyone who has voted hasn't even used the new microsoft mini

ive used my friends mini, it works on any surface so that is a huge plus over the nano..
the best thing about nano is the usb receiver

My Nano works flawlessly on my carpet, my jeans and it worked on bubble wrap too. However, shiney surfaces are its downfall :(

I voted for MS explorer mini. I've used both mice and found Explorer mini to be more comfortable for my palm.

the reason i bought the nano was because of its small receiver, i leave the thing plugged in and i sometimes forget it is plugged it. battery life is also good, well for me, 6 months, and thats using it 10+ a day

+1 for hello kitty bumper stickers, they add 2 dpi to the mouse.
