I recently replaced my VX for a MS Wireless Notebook Presenter Mouse 8000, and I'm quite pleased with it. It works great with my internal BT device, even in Linux. It's quite small though, even more so than the VX, which may be an issue if you have large hands. There's always the regular version, the Wireless Laser Mouse 8000 - but I found it a tad too large, being used to the smaller VX.
    Well there's my 2 cents.

Unfortunately no, I'm think about replacing my VX with the VX Nano when it comes out. The dongle is small enough that you can leave it plugged into the laptop all the time.

I've recently got a VX Revolution. At first, I was set on getting a BT mouse because "darn it, I have BT in my laptop and I'm not gonna have to mess with a stupid dongle".

Then I saw the VX Revolution at the store. The dongle is quite small and is stowed away in the mouse itself for transport. That eliminated two of my fears right there: a) I did not want a jumbo dongle to plug into my laptop and b) I was afraid of losing the darn dongle.

I also had concerns about BT used for gaming and saw that wireless USB has better bandwidth than BT at least in theory. Maybe I'd be fine with BT and maybe there are wireless USB devices that don't deliver on the bandwidth but the VX Revolution works fine for me in BioShock, so all is well.

I don't play online twitch games so the chance of some kiddo buying a mouse which is 1/10sec faster than mine is a non-issue for me. (And I think anybody for whom this is an issue should get a wired mouse anyway.)

    I'm very happy with it.

Yeah I'm also getting the VX Revolution. The VX Nano doesn't have thumb buttons and the middle click shifts the state of the scroll wheel, instead of being a dedicated middle click.

I bought a Nano just about 2 weeks ago and promptly returned it. (Like most notebook mice) it was just too small to get comfortable with. Whereas the VX Revolution was the perfect size and feel for me.

I'm buying a second VX Revolution to stay permanently attached to my desktop :D

EDIT: Re the original topic, I don't think there's a Bluetooth mouse out there that comes even close to the laser precision of the VX mice, nevermind the ergonomics. The Nano might be a better choice as the dongle is practically invisible, you can pretty much leave it in there permanently.
