Anyone has some comments or remarks about the logitech z-10 2.0 speakers?

anyone at all?

Well it looks like your paying a very pretty price tag for just a 2.0 system there. It seems that the only real special thing about it is that it shows you the time and date, and song information on the speaker. Is that something that you really want? I mean if your going to go portable with them then I guess I see a use for it, but if there going to sit on your desk I would say you should look at something else.
Reading the information the speakers are only 30 watts, and there 2-way, so there not bad, but they wont be real loud or give you much bass. If you dont need to move them I would highly recommend the Z-2300. I have these and they are absolutly amazing. Their THX rated so the sound quality is amazing, and with 400Watts peak its loud and the bass is chest thumping. Those speakers would be alot better to sit on a desk then those Z-10's would, and for alot cheaper. The Z-2300's are going for around $80 now, although they were alot more expensive a while ago. And it being black friday and all im sure you could find them even cheaper. -
Thx for your very informative response.
They are not going to be moved much, perhaps sometimes now and then. I am extremely design oriented and they are to be seated in a small apartment in my bedroom. So that they are of a bit top notch design is important to me and i kinda liked the touch sensitive features on the speakers. So if the sound quality is good, i wouldn't mind paying the extra cents. But i dont actually know if 30 watts and 2-way is good or bad, as I dont know anything about sound.
The one review of the speakers i've read claims it is one of the best 2.0 speakers out there, but i guess you always have to take reviews a bit cool as the product is provided from the producent. That's why i wondered if anyone knew anything.
Edit.
I might want to mention that they are going to be used with a notebook computer -
Those are good speakers. They are expensive because they have sound like a 2.1 but the space of 2.0.

Thanks mustang, may I ask what you based your statement on? Have you actually heard them play?

Kinda i tried them at futureshop, of course none of the speakers sounded good cuz theres no sound card but theere was plenty of base.

Well 30-watt isnt bad, the Z-2300 has 40-watts each speaker.2-way is good, the 2300 is 2-way as well. Personally to me I love the Z-2300 because I think they look great, and sound amazing as well. Although per speaker the 2300 only has 10 more watts, its not just the power, but the materials used in the speakrs. It has a THX rating for a reason. And what you said about using a them with a notebook, I use mine with my M1210 and they work fantastic, I just unplug 1 cord when I need to take my notebook with me. But what ever is best for you I guess. Here are pictures of the Z-2300's and the Z-10's side by side.
If the Z-10's look is that important, then you have to remember that your spending an extra $60-$70 on the look for something with less power and sound clarity then something that cost that much less. The Z-10's arnt bad speakers by any means, and I agree that the touch features and song display are cool features. But im going to of course going to tell you to get the Z-2300, but in the end its up to you. -
Sheffs right the z 2300 are better in every way accept for space and extra features like time and song. either ones you cant go wrong tho.

Okay, thank you for your advises. I dont have that much room, so I was actually planning to get something without the sub. And also, I live in an apartment, so me neighbours will just complain if I suddenly have a huge bass pumping through the entire building
As long as the z-10 speakers can play up me little apartment once in a while, when having some friends over..
