    Owners please chime in!

I'm torn between the two. It looks like I'd be paying a premium for Z Cinema Surround Sound with its "SRS® TruSurround HD" technology and all. I want to know if it's worth the extra $150+.

Otherwise, I hear everyone raving about the Z-2300. I could settle for these. I need quality desktop speakers mainly for HD movies and music.

I haven't heard the Z Cinema speakers, but I'd be extremely surprised if they're $150 better than the Z-2300 speakers. I just can't imagine anything that much better (other than bookshelf speakers). The Z-2300 is definitely the best bang for the buck (and trust me, it has plenty of bang).

Id go with Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 over both of these.
