Here's a funny one, just bought this Z333 sub + l\r + integrated amps, wondered why there was a complete lack of high frequencies, so did a little investigation... what looked like a small dome tweeter was just a piece of flat plastic glued to the front ! See attachment.

That's some Beats headphones build quality right there.

At least Logitech charges closer to what the unit is actually worth, instead of throwing Dr. Dre's name on it and adding +$150 to the price.

They even have a mylar dome to make it look like real tweeters. Hey maybe they're passive radiators.....for highs???? :D

It does say in the Logitec Z333 specification that there is only "Satellites: 2 x 8W" and"Subwoofer: 24W"

I have bought many sets of speakers with a tweater showing but there is no tweeter there, normally just a hole with a cover, But you dont even get a hole.

Can you still return them, say your just not happy with the sound quality.

Hello, am keeping them, practical and good bass, didn't cost much and for some non-hifi use, pushing the eq's on the player to full treble music sounds 'just tolerable'...

Some day, will get a pair of small 2 way car speakers to fit, that should fix things.

But am still having an aversion to the name Logitech :O)

The engineer in me sees a practical reason for the hole where the tweeter would be: make a single part for multiple models. That being said, the could put in a plastic cover instead of disguising it as something it is not. I get the feeling that someone in marketing decided the latter. Personally, I don't like that a cover for something that isn't there looks like something that it is not.

A pc 'hifi' update, got a pair of these some time ago, more luck this time, very good+++.
Giveaway price (40 euros) for great construction \ controls \ sound.

And using the old Logifraud z333's sub connected for a dose of extra bottom punch, it all sounds 5 times it's size (and 5 times it's price) :)
