I was checking the Logitech Z523 Speaker System.

For $49.99 w/coupon code = logi_z523_22411, is this a good speaker system? If, I were to purchase one I wouldn't really want to go over the $50 Price Point. And, this appears like it would fit on my desk nicely.

    TIA! :D

For $50, that's an excellent 2.1 system. Most other <$50 will usually have <30 total RMS.

I wouldn't pay the full $100 for it, but at $50 it seems like a good deal.

At 40W for the entire system, don't expect room-clearing sound and power out of it, but it'll definitely bring you some substantial low end and overall fuller sound than any laptop speaker. Then again, I may be spoiled by my 200W Z-2300 system :p
