I'm interested in purchasing one of those neat Logitech io digital pens; the one with the camera that records your notes. However, I have one gripe: the special paper for the pen costs $5 a book, which is quite a bit for a 128-page notebook. Is it possible that the io works just fine with normal lined paper, or is it only usable with the special paper? After all, it seems to be a welcome alternative to a tablet PC.

It has to use the special paper AFAIK.
